FAQ

  • Is there a registration fee?
Yes there is a one off £30 registartion fee when the child starts. £10 registartion fee to secure an after school club place.
  • When do I pay fees?
You will recieve your first invoice when your child starts for the sessions they will be doing that month, this is to be paid at the first earliest convience. You will then recieve an invoice around the middle of the month for the sessions they will be doing for the upcoming month. Payments will be due by the 1st of every month.
  • What do I send to nursery with my child?
When you receive your welcome pack you will find a detailed list in there of what to bring to Muddy Boots. We do ask parents to provide a nutritious, balanced lunch box, nappies and wipes if required and suitable clothing, such as welly boots and waterproofs. Muddy Boots will provide breakfast (if the child starts at 8am), a morning and afternoon at snack and suncream.
  • What is the settling in process?
Once your child is registered at Muddy Boots we will discuss wth you when you would like them to start. Around a week before their start date their new keyperson and one other of the ladies from Muddy Boots will visit your house and spend some time getting to know you all. At the home visit you will book in some settling in sessions. On average children usually have 2 settling in sessions in between the home visit and the start date, however if they are struggling to settle we can do as many settling in sessions as they need. Generally we find that the children don't seem to struggle settling in if they have had a home visit. The special bond between your child and their keyperson begins with the home visit, this attachment will then be nurtured at the settling in sessions and continue to grow throughout their journey at Muddy Boots.
